MusErectus is a project I’ve been involved in, during the last year. It’s a humanoid robot, using Bioloid (made by Robotis) as the hardware base and an IGEPv2 as the main brain.

The human team was me, João Silva and Tiago Ângelo – we participated in MicroRato 2011 @ University of Aveiro, demonstrating that not only wheeled robots could enter this challenge. In fact, we were the first team ever in MicroRato using an humanoid robot.

Ricardo Dias

Ricardo Dias was born in Entroncamento, Portugal and is studying Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering at University of Aveiro. He is a researcher in robotics and is currently the Team Leader of CAMBADA@MSL team. As a hobby, he is also a freelancer Stage Lighting Designer.
