CAMBADA participation in IranOpen2014

Back in April 09, 2014, I flew, along with 5 more CAMBADA team members, to Tehran for an International Robotics Fair that lasted 3 days :) Here is a video with our best moments.

We made pretty big achievements:

  • Dribble behaviour – we where the only team complying with the rules, because this year we can’t dribble more than 3 meters from the point where we grab the ball. Also the whole robot behaviour
  • Ball handling – the grabber mechanism was improved to allow free movements
  • Passes in free-play – we successfully coordinated multiple agents to be able to make and receive a pass in freeplay

At the end of the day, the 2nd place was worth all the hardwork during those days. The next competition will be the Portuguese Robotics Open, in Espinho, Portugal, from 14 to 18 May.
